1978 Viking (IN) – Cherry Sunburst – #53 024071

By 1978 it was 10 years since Hagstrom had made a Viking I so they dropped the ‘IN’ designation.  I note it here to avoid any confusion.  This is a beautiful and brilliant ‘cherry sunburst’ guitar in excellent condition.  It is one of 148 right-handed Vikings made in 1978, and Viking production ended in 1979 with the production of 245 units.  The instrument is not without flaws, but they are few in number and shown in the photos.  There are 3 small dings on the top of the headstock, a ding on the edge of the lower bout, a chip near the jack, and some light mars on the back.  It comes with a case.  Contact us for additional photos or information if needed.
