1976 Hagstrom Jimmy – Sunburst – #53-965107

$0.00

A very nice looking and Playing “Jimmy” from the first run in the 70’s. This instrument is in very good condition. It is all original except the pickup selector switch which replaced the broken original. The tuners are ‘original’, however screw holes reveal that at one time other tuners were installed.  It has a nice ebony bridge and fingerboard with block inlays. The top has some patterning in the wood veneer that shows variations in the vibrant colors. There are few areas where the finish had flaked away from the body. These were professionally repaired by Elderly Instruments though the colors don’t match exactly. They are not noticeable unless one looks closely. The guitar comes in a hard shell case and with a copy of the June 2005 Vintage Guitar magazine.  This issue had a very complimentary article about the 1976 Hagstrom Jimmy’s. It cited their history and development and noting that “they are fine playing guitars” and “the workmanship is excellent.” It More information and pictures available on request.
