1973 H II N-OT in Mint Condition. #872180 – One of a pair. Available individually
$0.00
As John Haskin often collected guitars in pairs, he wrote this about these H II N’s: “Matched set of Hagstrom H II N and H II N-OT [guitars] near mint, transparent wine. These are two of the most beautiful instruments you are likely to see. They will take your breath away and if you have played the H II N-OT you know that the sustain is incredible, in some cases superior to the Swede with much less weight. No wonder Pat Smear owned three of them.” The H II N-OT from 1973 is a rarer instrument as only about 20% of the H II N guitars Hagstrom made were fitted without the TremarTM tailpiece (OT). This example is virtually flawless with a beautiful deep red transparent finish over the solid banded mahogany body and neck that matches the finish of the H II N. It is very playable with a nice low action and virtually no fret wear. Because this guitar has sat idle for a while it took a little playing for the pots and switches to clean up, but clean up they did. It comes with a quality newer brown tweed/crushed velvet rectangular case. I can answer your questions or send additional photos upon request. Accepting all reasonable offers.
