1967 Hagstrom H III – Mahogany Red Burst – #709494

A beautiful and unusual Mahogany body H III from 1967.  The mahogany grain shows through a red burst finish to make a very striking instrument.  This guitar is in very good condition with a few finish scratches that didn’t show up in the photos.  There are a couple of dings and one small spot through the finish (see photos).  It looks as if John refinished the neck, as is his habit, and there is a crack in the finish on both sides of the neck pocket (I didn’t notice this until cropping the photos).  It is apparent from the direction of the marks that they reside in the thick polyester finish as is not uncommon in these guitars.  The guitar comes with an original Hagstrom lightweight blue felt case.  John Haskin loved pairs of instruments so you can find a matching H II listed on the site as well.  Additional photos are available on request.  Accepting all reasonable offers.
