1967 Hagström H-II – Black – #674 131

This is a very nice, restored, vintage Hagström guitar.  It plays well with a strong voice from the pickups.  The Neck and Bridge pickup provide the  variation of tone that maximizes the versatility of this guitar.  Like all the instruments offered here, the controls have been cleaned and work properly.  Both the body and neck have been nicely refinished.  As most of this work was done by John Haskin years ago, so sadly there is some minor shop wear that has occurred since.  Most notably a small ding on the back of the neck that is shown in the photos.  Minor finish variations in the body are difficult to see, and more difficult to photograph, but some do exist.  It is not a showroom finish, but a very handsome re-finish.  The metalwork is all bright with new old stock saddles on the bridge.  The vintage Hagström volume knob is not ‘correct’ for this model and the tremolo screw is aftermarket.   I have tried to show both its assets and liabilities in the photos, but more information or photos are available on request.  It is priced without a case, but we can confidently pack the guitar for safe arrival.
