1967 Coronado IV – Brown Burst – #658266

Hagstrom made less than 1000 Coronado IV basses from 1963 to 1970 and though this original design was not as popular as some of their instruments they are respected and collected for their quality. This is a nice example from 1967 with Hagstrom single-coil pickups. The electronics and finish are in very good condition with the exception of a few “marks of experience” mostly on the back. There is a prominent ‘ding’ on the headstock, and one on the lower side of the body. On the back, there are a few minor bumps, an obvious scrape, and the finish has shrunk at the seam where the Mahogany pieces of the body were glued together. The joint is solid, but these cracks are often found on instruments with a thicker polyester finish. It comes with a rectangular hard case. If you are serious about this guitar, more photos and information can be provided.
