1965 Hagström H II – Sunburst – #655859

This nice H II is in very good condition. The neck has been refinished and the body is a beautiful three-color sunburst with some repaired blemishes. These “experience marks” are most noticeable on the back and the edges. This is not a “closet” instrument, but one that was played. However, this guitar sports some new hardware and improvements. Most significant is that the neck has been re-fretted. In addition, the trem bar, trem bolt, and pickup rings are all “new old stock”. The scratch plate, metalwork, and body are smooth and polished; not perfect but excellent all around. We no longer have any of the original volume knobs for this model so an aftermarket knob has been supplied. (a Hagstrom knob with numbers is available if you prefer) Of course, all the electronics work properly, and the guitar plays well with a good strong tone from both pickups.
